Piero Gilardi debuted in 1963 with an exhibition of "Machine for the future" at the
The Picture Gallery of Turin.
Most recent works of Gilardi are united by a theme, or the interactions between work and spectator. Among the various creations, there is the work "Pulse", in which the heartbeat of the observer of the work - recorded by a sensor - determines changes of the whole; "Absolut", the forest of plastic, translucent and cold, "Shared emotion", that involving two people in an interactive performance computing, referring to new approaches and exchange in the virtual society and global economy.
